One off or the best detailed (missing just a little) explanation. I am installing a ROG STRIX MOBO. 👍😉
Why can manufactures (much less computer related) hardware / software make decent is any decent video tutorials? My manual (paperback size) has over 60 pages of scattered small print sections of random importance. I did engineering people training and like everything else they have to be cheap to make more profit and this is one of the better bios interfaces. I'd pull my hair out but not much left after 60 + years. Errrrr!

Just booted this for the first time and I had a few questions. First would be it says only my CPU and chasis fan 2 are running but I have a chasis fan 2 also running and it's actually working like it's spinning so that's an oddity. And secondly I can't for the life of me figure out how to install Windows 10. I got the product key/disk one in the mail and I do t have a disk drive but I figured I'd just use the key but I'm not seeing where to punch it in. You mentioned the flash drive method but I'm not sure how to work that with the windows I bought. I'm sort of a boomer when it comes to technology so forgive me for being slow I didn't grow up with this stuff like a lot of younger people did haha thanks anyway.

Hey @ThinkComputers, I did a Bios update yesterday and since then my Windows is all glitching out – my Nvidia GPU not detecting on boot but detects after windows login ( Takes less than 1 min to detect hardware changes and refreshes ) . My windows 10 is kind of slow afterwards and my games are crashing. What do you think is happening? Thanks

Hi thank you for the video ..I do have this motherboard..1 question for you..I have a i5 8600k, 6cores 6 threads, when I'm in the bios..under advanced settings..CPU configuration, when I go to all cores I see 1-5 is this normal.. considering I have 6 cores?

how do u lower your cpu's temp. I have a kraken x62 cooler and getting 30-35c while idling. Im not sure if this is good or bad? overclocked at 4.8ghz as well

I have a rosewill cullinan rgb case with 3 front 1 rear rgb fans connected to a speed controller. With controller on max the fans only spin at like 1200 rpm. Can I increase the speed manually in bios up to like 1500rpm and it work considering it has the rgb controller?

Found your video while searching for 'how to adjust PCIe voltage on Asus Z390-A".. I'm trying to get a pair of Black Magic Design Intensity Pro 4K cards to work. They came out of an old system and when they didn't work in the new, they were RMA'd. BMD checked them and they are up to date FW and working fine. BMD said to try changing the PCIe voltage to get them working. Any idea where I should look within these vast and confusing BIOS configs?

READ THIS IF YOU OWN Z370 ASUS BOARDS!!! If you activate the EZ System Tuning and put it to EXTREME TUNING, it will slap your CPU with 1.4Volts and apply a crazy overclock to it. When i set it to Extreme Tuning to check what it did, my 8600k was doing 4.7 or 4.8ghz at 1.45volts. LEAVE IT AT NORMAL, UNLESS IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING, DONT FRY YOUR CPU!!!

I have a core i7 8700k and this motherboard when I boot up and go to task manager it still shows I’m only running 2 cores 4 threads instead of 6 and 12 threads is this a bios fixable issue ? Or how do it fix this? I went into system config and it still shows only 2cores and 4 threads are available I’ve used my systems hard drives on a previous system where these core and thread counts were correct and it was and now I’m on intel it’s not correct and it does feel like I’m not getting full performance out of my i7 please help
